President and part owner of Valley Guns II in Inwood WV.  Tom manages  training at our Inwood & Bloomery locations.  Tom has over 30 years of experience in the firearms industry and has been an NRA certified Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun instructor since 2004.  Over the past decade, Tom has studied advanced firearms training, tactics and application under US Marine Corp and US Army Special Forces Instructors compiling over 350+ hours of advanced firearms training to date. 

He currently holds a 2nd degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and has been an active martial artist since 1988.  Having instructed over 3000 students since 2004, Tom’s instruction takes a collegiate style approach exposing students to all aspect of firearms use and applications.  Using a tempered focus teaching technique, students progress individually at their own pace.  This is evident in the tiered structure of the classes offered by Valley Guns II.  Additionally, Tom is a ’99 graduate of Shepherd College (University) holding a B.S. degree in Chemistry & Mathematics and has 2 years of graduate experience as a Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University from 2000-2002.
